The HUBER PACKAGING Group, a leading German manufacturer of metal packaging with a 150-year history, € 180 million in sales and five plants in DACH, Hungary and the UK, was faced with the task of rethinking its position in a fragmented market with increasing concentration pressure from major international groups.

The growth of CCNST, a group of companies specializing in information technology, telecommunications and consumer electronics, reached the limits of the financial possibilities of its owner. The auditing company BFMT Group, which he commissioned with the search for capital, asked VIRETUM CONSULT for support.

Hanns-Peter Wiese, Dipl.-Kfm., Owner, has more than 25 years of business, corporate finance and M&A experience. Before founding VIRETUM CONSULT, he was a director of a major German bank in the corporate finance department, head of M&A at a corporate finance advisory, and managing director, general partner and manager of several private equity and venture capital firms.
He completed over 100 transactions with more than 50 companies at all stages of development in various industries in Germany, Western Europe, Israel and the USA. He was also able to bring 15 of these public and as supervisory or advisory board member accompany a large number over many years in their business cycles and in numerous financing rounds and M&A transactions.
Mr. Wiese speaks German as his mother tongue, fluent English, conversational French and has basic knowledge of Spanish.
